Aquapick Cordless Oral Irrigator/ Water Flosser AQ231

Recently just visited my friend who happened to be a dentist to save my molar tooth and she asked me if I flossed my teeth and definitely I don't as my gum always bleed with the usual floss threads and the threads always stuck between teeth and laziness do sit in sometimesπŸ˜…

Yeah when it always get stuck and bleed whenever you start to floss, well, you get discourage from doing it at regular basis right? πŸ’”

But I always knew that it is a great practice to keep up to further clean the food debris after meals and help to avoid gum inflammation and tooth decay

She introduce me to Aquapick water flosser AQ230 which work similarly as traditional threads flosser, using high speed water jet instead of threads to clean the food debris stuck in between teeth. Sound good right? Water do sound much gentle than threads πŸ˜†

The brand itself is from Korea and cost around RM400-500 in Malaysia

As my usual self I read all users reviews on different brands of water flossers available on Taobao and Aquapick seem to top the list and they are selling the similar model AQ231 at around 399RMB or RM244.

Woah. The price is literally half and when I purchase the irrigator, they giving away FREE replacement spray heads (2 pcs, each pcs last for 6 month!)  if you share about the product via Wechat. That mean, with 2 original spray heads come with the irrigator, I have 4 spray heads in total! Without hesitation, I immediately place an order via Taobao.

Sea shipping is cheap at RM5 , the minus point is around 1 month wait πŸ˜”

It is here !

Order placed on 27 Aug and it is here by 1 Oct😍 The packaging come with a manual, irrigator , 2 spray heads and USB charging cable, plus my extra 2 spray heads from the sellerπŸ™†πŸ’•πŸ’–πŸ’—

Basically it has three different mode, CLEAN, SOFT and MASSAGE. Operating is quite straight forward , press the same button to off the device/ change mode. If you are first time user like me , I will strongly suggest soft mode to have a good start.

1.Plug in the spray head while holding onto the insert button

2. Insert water into the water tank

3.Direct the spray head toward desired area

4. Close your mouth and press START

Clean mode if you can stand with the stronger pressure πŸ˜‰

Close your mouth 😐!

It is crucial if you do not want the water to be all over your place. Remember to place the irrigator nearer to your gum/teeth (advice from dentist friend as it is less painful that way)

                                                           Pressure can be strong!

Some said gum will start to bleed when you start using water flosser. That's true. I bleed for 2 or 3 days (just mild bleeding ok) , some may bleed up to 2 weeks (vary according to individuals) for the gum to get used to the pressure.

So does it do the job to clean the food debris between teeth?

I would say yes, it does the cleaning job pretty well and water tank is big enough for 1 time use and I don't have to keep refill water. 4 hours charging of the device can last up to 3 weeks for daily useπŸ’ͺ one minus point would be the device could have a PAUSE button as I find it pretty hard to navigate between different modesπŸ˜… so I'm all wet when use it for the first time πŸ˜‚ (perhaps I'm first time user also) After using it for few days , I begin to love this irrigator as it clean up debris effectively and teeth look much cleaner after use 😁
